The Student Activities Committee is a student led organization that acts as a go-between for students and staff. Throughout the year, the committee gets to plan social events, from prom to the talent show, assist in community outreach, and promote student involvement in the school. The committee members gain leadership skills, through workshops, planning, and actual leading. Students are given the opportunity to lead in a fun way that gives them a taste of real world experiences in a safe environment. SAC allows students to use their individual talents to transition to leaders one step at a time.
“I think one of the keys to leadership is recognizing that everybody has gifts and talents. A good leader will learn how to harness those gifts toward the same goal.” - Ben Carson.
